Here's how to Upload CSV file of leads that are not generated from within the system, such as leads downloaded from other CRM's or leads from other websites like Craigslist.
On the Lead Management page, you can click on the Import Leads near the top.
The wizard will lead you step by step to upload a CSV (comma separated values) file.
Note: The Maximum number of leads that you can load in a batch is 2000. So you will need to split larger lists into files with no more than 2000 leads.
You will want to add a tag label so that you can search for those specific leads.
You will need to specify what each column is by assigning a header to each column from the drop down menu. You must only have the specific columns that are shown in the instructions. Delete all the other columns.
First step is to delete any columns that are not in the list of fields that can be used.
Columns that can be used:
First Name
Last Name
Address
State
Zip
Email
Email 2
Phone
Phone 2
Fax
Age
DOB (Date of Birth)
Gender
Is Buyer
Is Seller
You will be able to save the format so that you don't gave to set it up each time, if you are importing files with the same structure.
You will need to check mark the box to certify that the leads are opted in, and that you have permission to contact them.
This will allow you to use the Broadcast System to communicate by text or voicemail or add them to a campaign in the Lead Management System.
As a security measure to protect from spam complaints, you will not be able to email uploaded leads. You will be able to email leads that have opted in on your Automarketer clone sites or you have talked to and entered into the Lead Detail page.

Rick. I'm using Octoparse to scrape Craigslist and generate a CSV. Some entries have Mobile Numbers that I want to do the text blasting. Can I send the CSV to the email and have that loaded into the system? What frequency of sending them in would be reasonable?
HI Aaron,
Weekly is fine.
Once the leads are in the system, you can add them to the 3 Month Followup Campaign sequence.
Best wishes,
Rick
